The UK gas industry is renowned for strictly governed approvals and standards that manufacturers need to qualify their products against. Peak Pipe Systems manufacture a range of approved gas products for low pressure (LP) medium pressure (MP) and intermediate pressure (IP) gas supply applications

PE pipe for gas applications

Our polyethylene pipes for gas applications are available in a wide range of sizes to suit all manner of projects. From ø20mm through to ø355mm diameter, we can supply pipes to suit a maximum operating pressure of up to 7 bar and are compliant to gas industry standards.

Polyethylene boasts unique material characteristics compared to traditional materials which means it is a highly flexible, robust, and a 100% recyclable solution for installation into gas networks. Our gas pipes can out perform traditional materials in terms of chemical resistance and lasting durability and are therefore suitable for a variety of industries. Whatever your project’s requirements are, we can help.

Gas solutions

Our gas pipes are available in sizes ranging from 20mm to 355mm and are available in 6m and 12m lengths. However, we can also manufacture bespoke pipe lengths to suit your project requirements. For those seeking coiled gas pipe, we also offer 20mm to 180mm.

Electrofusion fittings

Electrofusion fittings and polyethylene pipes enable network designers and asset owners to create fully welded pipe networks – avoiding mechanical connections that are more prone to leak.

Our strict quality process means each gas pipe is made from virgin PE80/PE100 material, making it ideal for gas sector usage where durability and long term performance is demanded. Polyethylene provides proven performance which will outlast metallic pipework.

We manufacture wall thickness (SDR) ratings from 9 to 21. Our gas products are also fully approved to stringent gas industry standards GIS PL2-2, GIS PL2-6, GIS PL2-8 and are Kitemark™ certified.

With our manufacturing facilities on site, we can produce bespoke lengths and applications for gas pipe projects – whether it’s upgrading existing pipework or designing a new system, our gas pipe products are as flexible as you need them to be with no compromise on quality.
